It's not easy being GREEN

- Coming from the islands, you are surrounded by the beauty of our planet and unfortunately we take it for granted. There are no recycling programs and we are not taught how important it is or the effects it can have on our environment. After moving to Canada, I quickly realized how much waste I had been creating and soon got with the program. Living in Nova Scotia especially opened my eyes. We didn't have two or three garbage cans, but FIVE! It was crazy at first trying to figure out where to put my garbage and many times I found myself standing helplessly in front of a row of bins. This however set me on a quest to understand how important it is to reduce, re-use and recycle, and that my friends brings us to where we are NOW....the FLOW GREEN TIP!
